Research use policy
These restrictions apply to every Greyline product and order. Last updated September 10, 2026.
Permitted purpose
Products are supplied exclusively to qualified researchers and licensed laboratories for legitimate laboratory research. Buyers must understand the material, applicable documentation, storage requirements, handling controls, and governing law.
Prohibited uses
Products must not be used in or on humans or animals. They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, supplements, or household products and may not be used for any purpose inconsistent with their research-only labeling.
Buyer responsibility
The buyer is responsible for determining that the purchase, possession, transport, storage, handling, and research activity are lawful and appropriate in the buyer’s jurisdiction and institution. The buyer must maintain suitable facilities, training, records, and safeguards.
Order review
Greyline may request additional information, decline an order, or cancel and refund an order when the stated use, buyer information, location, payment, or other circumstances do not support a legitimate research transaction.
